Come on board with a highly reputable and seasoned professional team as a part-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant in a casual work environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of bookkeeping records necessary to properly account for the Company’s financial transactions, receipts, and reporting. The secondary role will be to support operations by delivering typical office administrative duties. The role requires a high-level of confidentiality and discretion in fulfilling responsibilities and offers room for growth for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain current aging of accounts, both payable and receivable
  • Collect, gain approval and process expense reports
  • Book all transactions to the proper chart of accounts
  • Manage bank and general ledger balance and reconciliations
  • Assist with time tracking in eBillity and QuickBooks
  • Collection and categorization of receipts
  • Initiate client invoices on a timed cycle
  • Provide 1st follow-up call/notification on overdue invoices as directed by Principal
  • General administrative duties on an occasional basis
  • Duties such as travel arrangement, tracking employee PTO, order supplies and provide light housekeeping in cooperation with other office mates will be occasionally needed based on client and management needs


  • 1 Year minimum experience with QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Internet savvy with skills in research
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Location and Travel:

  • This position will be based in Madison, TN and requires no travel
